Cindy Jacobs is a nurse-attorney with more than 30 years of combined legal and health care experience. Her practice focuses on health law/regulatory areas, most specifically telemedicine and other health care technologies; FDA issues related to drugs, devices, and biologics; HIPAA and related privacy and security issues; health care contracting; professional liability, risk and quality management; scope of practice; and informed consent and other health care decision-making issues. She has taught FDA law and telemedicine/health care technology law classes at UW School of Law for several years. Cindy obtained her BSN summa cum laude from Marymount University, her advanced practice neonatal RN certificate from Georgetown University, and her JD from UCLA School of Law, where she earned Order of the Coif membership.
